Earlier this week I attended a meeting which was held in the Lily Tea Room at Penrose Water Garden in Shortlanesend. What a beautiful, tranquil place. The Tea rooms served a wonderful lunch from a superb menu. The staff were lovely, warm and welcoming.

Penrose Water Gardens are off the beaten track but well worth visiting. There is an excellent cafe/restaurant with friendly staff. Go for breakfast, you won't want anything else to eat for the day!! The water gardens are very well maintained and lovely to walk around.
